Scott is a 2nd generation Film industry brat, as his Emmy "Honorable Mention" key grip father worked many years in Hollywood film, tv, and commercials starting with Ozzie & Harriet & retiring at Paramount in the early 80's. He did not follow in his father's footsteps, as his 30 years of spotty experience has been on both sides of the camera in Film and TV, and up & down the production ladder.
During the late 90's, Scott was behind the "Highland Studios" project: to establish and build an innovative, independent "World-Class" motion picture production studio, utilizing unique monolithic dome structures for sound stages on 120 acres of a hilly (almost wilderness) area, within Hollywood's "Studio Zone". This followed a seminar series program on Studio Operations by AMPAS - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. |
His first feature project (ancient Celtic related), almost 20 years, ago was as a co-writer/producer with Gall-Gael Films and he located a weilling financier for $8 Million; the rest is history. Many of his writing projects for Film & TV started out as puns, which led to titles. Then, he'd put together a top sheet and start working on a story. One of those concepts gained the attention of a fast-growing independent TV network production company in 2004.
Scott's industry affiliations have included, but are not limited to: Flash Forware Institute, Hollywood Film Institute, EPPS (Entertainment Publicists Professional Society), Los Angeles Post Production Group, SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Theatrical Engineers), The EXCHANGE (at CBS Radford), and VFT (Veterans in Film & Television), now known as: VME (Veterans in Media and Entertainment). He spends some of his spare time writing and developing multiple Film, TV and theme projects. |

All buildings are to have the latest in Green and Sustainable technology to meet the highest LEED rating as possible! Only The BEST For Our VETS!
